I was born in 1989 and grew up in Switzerland. After an apprenticeship as an electronic technician, I obtained a B.Sc. in Life Science Technologies with a major in medical technology from the University of Applied Sciences and Arts of Northwestern Switzerland and an M.Sc. in Biomedical Engineering with a major in image-guided therapy from the University of Bern. Currently, I am a Ph.D. student at the Institute for Surgical Technology & Biomechanics with a research focus in medical image analysis using machine learning. Besides research, I frequently enjoy cycling, I am interested in politics, like to listen to electronic music, and watch TV series. Please check out my social profiles for further details on my research, work experience, and employment history.
